Voters' Choice Poll

The year is coming to an end and what better way to recap but to hold a poll for Off The Record readers to decide what their favourite albums of 2006 are. The team and I had enough trouble trying to get this up for the past two weeks and it'd probably be impossible for us to have one list as it would end up as four different lists so this way by letting you choose, it'd make easier and to let us know what you actually enjoy listening to.
I'd tell you that this year has been swarmed by music on the internet. Artists getting hyped about on myspace, blogs, ezines and between word of mouth. Who could forget Pitchfork Media and their "accessible" servers when Joanna Newsom's album Ys was leaked two months before it was released. Yes, then again I could speak about every single one of the other leaks I have posted numerous entries on since being a contributor. But with the help of this internet craze, we've found those rare lovely finds. So without any further adieu, what we've done is created two polls; for albums of 2006 and Australian albums of 2006. So go ahead and VOTE! Small details about the poll are on the side panel of the site. Voting will end by the end of the year or a bit later.
