The Icicles
It's rather ironic that this band is named The Icicles, because their brand of dreamy, whimsical twee-pop glows like a ray of sunshine which leaves me feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. The perfect cure after a spate of horrible year-end examinations, so here's to all of you who are having exams as well. You may have heard the song 'Sugar Sweet' being used in a Motorola phone commercial, which was how I first heard of them, to be honest. They're apparently in the studios putting the final touches to a new album slated to be released in April 2007, so look out for that!
