• Hey, Van She cop so much shit, and undeservedly so. Yeah they're cool, and yeah of course they know it, but they're damn fine band. As for these kids, on first listen, I dig the track. They'll probably be signed to Mosquito's Tweeter before the year's out. HAH. But really, good song, let's wait until we hear some more until we start dissing, shall we?

• who cares what they wear, its good music and done with style which is what the industry is all about. If its not your taste, dont diss them, just move.

• they are just not doing anything of decent value, or creating any sounds/songs that are worth weeding out of this bullshit scene that keeps producing crap over the top fashion scenester acts like Amy meredith, dukes of windsor, Galvatrons, and surprise surprise, you knew "fav" posing annoying group of ear bleeding shit that are "Cassette Kids"

• cassette kids are working on some fucking great stuff... their first venture into music may not be record breaking (all they have is a couple of demos!!), but all bands need time to develope, and they are doing some incredible things now if you take the time to go to a live performance. So Rather than stressing about the 'scene' which you seem to be more preoccupied with than the bands that supposedly constitute it, actually go to a show. Seriously interesting, and their stage presence is entirely captivating. I am critical too of many bands, but honestly these guys and gal are undeserving of your quick and unsubstanciated judgement. I wish them all the best!
