Lush, swaying summery acoustic pop from Springfield, Missouri four-piece band Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin are back with a new little two-track green seven inch record "Not Worth Fighting". Like SSLYBY's debut album "Broom", this one is a nice little number with those catchy hooks that keep you wanting more. Since then, they've probably been labelled one of the most blogged about bands, but that doesn't stop me spreading some love for this world wide web discovered treasure. Last year they caught the ears of Polyvinyl Records; home of other pop gems such as Mates of State, Saturday Looks Good To Me and Of Montreal. They played at SXSW recently and was dubbed band with the best name. SSLYBY are working on some new material for a full length record due some time later in the year. You can get your hands on "Not Worth Fighting" on May 22nd. Labels: Sandra

Broom is a really great pop album, so thanks for posting some of the upcoming material.
Polyvinyl is also now home to architecture in helsinki. They're becoming one of my fav labels around now.
