I recently got sent in the mail the new OC CD (no...i didn't buy it) and although im not a huge fan of the show, the new cd is surpringsly good. Why? Well, instead of just chucking on tracks that have been played on the show, they have gotten artists to cover songs that have been on the show. Originally today i was only going to post Goldspot's cover of Modest Mouse's Float On, but I coudln't go past Lady Sovereign's take on the Sex Pistol's classic Pretty Vacant. Both songs are worth checking out and I'd almost go as far as saying check out the new cd.
