Les Sans Culottes
Rummaging through my music collection I rediscovered Les Sans Culottes. Let's put it this way, it's a French singing band from New York. That might seem odd but as time goes on more and more people seem to realise exactly what the band is saying regardless of what language they are saying it in and even while it is filtered through assumed personas, using some ridiculous names like Francoise Hardly or Johnny Dieppe. And perhaps there is something revolutionary in that. As the NY Daily News says they've "earned a reputation for excessively fabulous performances and intoxicatingly catchy pop music in the mold of Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Dutronc", there's no denying that you can't help but to move your feet or sing along even if you don't know French.Les Sans Culottes Allo Allo (Hello I Love You)
